Joe Borowski is not a very good pitcher.

Plus this ruins the chances ARod would hit into a double play to end the game. It was all set up and all Abreu had to do was walk or get a single.

Hopefully that was ARod's final Yankee at bat.

THERE'S A FLY BALL...WAY BACK...AND IT IS...caught in front of the track.

That brings back memories.

Actually, that was reversed.

My girlfriends brother (Red Sox fan) just called and asked how I didn't have a heart attack watching Borowski pitch when he was with the Cubs. I told him I had a heart attack on a daily basis. Edited by E.J.

With how much this board freaks out about Dempster as the closer, I can only imagine what it would be like if Borowski was the closer this year. Borowski makes Demp look like Mariano Rivera.

Man, remember when Borowski saved the door on an opponent's field (against a perennial playoff team) to help the Cubs advance to a CS?

Yankees are DONE.

Hooray! (Does fake Indian chant like the kids do in elementary school.)

ESPN Radio broadcast suggests that if Torre is done in NY, Posada may follow out the door. More importantly, let the ARod sweepstakes begin.
