They made an interesting point during the game about Charlie not playing the kids last year to work them into the lineup and get them ready for this year. I don't know if it's true or not but I thought it may be a valid point.

I love college football. Every week brings something exciting and unexpected. Even if Tulane doesn't beat LSU it's pretty cool that they had a first half like this against a very good team.

I honestly haven't noticed him that much (except for a few below average kick returns). That jump ball catch by him today was nice though, and it shows how much confidence they have in him to throw up a deep ball like that. I definitely think he could develop into a good player in a year or two.

Thanks. I've been curious because Fulmer and staff took a lot of flack for not even offering Tate a scholarship.

 

Fulmer said he just wasn't as high on Tate as the scouting services were (he was a five star I think).

I haven't really had a chance to watch them play so that's why I'm making the comments that I am. I can't feel sorry for any college team that gets the pub they do. I respect their program but after losing the Heismon to Brown on a team that didn't pass and he just returned kicks for an 8-3 team, no, I don't feel sorry for them and I won't even go to the Paul Horning thing vs Jim Brown.
