Classy guy. Does anyone know how his daughter is doing? Last time I heard, I thought she has lost vision in one eye. The story made it sound like she still had some vision. Is the disease one that comes on slowly and she will definitely lose all vision or does it affect one eye in some cases?

I could be wrong, but I think that I heard that she will be without vision in one eye for the rest of her life. She was one of the lucky ones though, because most lose vision in both eyes. It didn't seem as if she was in any danger to become totally blind. Again, I could be way off base, but this is what I recall from the last I have heard.
