No disrespect to HBC, but this is what I have worked for since last offseason. In order to get where I want to be in this league, I have to beat GHS this week. I have looked forward to this matchup for about 14 months. Pep talks and preparations have taken place. No more to talk about. Time to get it done, Dawgs!

BTW, in one of my other leagues (cash payout), I am in the finals this week. My semi-final game went completely down to the wire. I was down about 5 points with Jeter left to go. I was down a little under 4 in the top of the 8th inning, Jeter AB against Schilling with runners on 2nd and 3rd. Well, the ever-so-clutch Derek Jeter didn't fail me, coming thru with a game-winning 3-run HR (for his team and mine). Even a 2-run double would have left me short by .3 points, had nobody knocked Jeter home. A HR was the only logical way for me to win in that situation.

but now i don't think he is starting against milwaukee. i think he was supposed to start wednesday, but now he's starting this weekend. milwaukee is going up against three scrubs in the houston series, i believe.

Yeah, this is an interesting week for me. This league in semis. This league is the most competitive/important. Other league is for money, and I'm in the finals.

 

In one league I'm facing Fielder, Kent, Rich Hill, Soriano, Brett Myers and Ben Sheets. The other league they're all on my team.

Hey look. My team's not hitting! David Wright is carrying me. Sizemore is still one of the top 10 scorers in the league, but he's been a disappointment in a lot of respects. Morneau has disappointed in the 2nd half. I knew Sheffield was only a matter of time, before he wasn't the league's leading OF. My boys need to break out offensively this weekend.

I don't think anyone will complain if pujols plays while he is on your bench. that sucks for the cubs though. I think we better assume a brewers sweep without pujols in the lineup.
