Daryle Ward has been an awesome addition to this team. Whether it's been giving Lee a day off, starting in RF, or coming off the bench late in the game, he's been money all year long. His line of .347/.451/.554/1.005 is just ridiculous. I can't remember the last time we had a versatile guy who was this good on our bench. Oh, and against the Cardinals he has a cool 1500 OPS.

SOLID pickup by Hendry, and at a great price too.

It was a great pickup. Even though Floyd has gotten hot. I feel much more comfortable with Ward at bat.

Ward is able to come off the bench and deliver. There aren't many players that have that skill. Floyd needs regular at bats to be of value.

I love Ward.

.347 average? I mean, are you kidding me?

BTW, his post-ASB OPS is 1.180, and his September OPS is 1.434.

It's nice that Hendry finally got the big time PH bat he's been looking for for a couple of years.

Let's hope they don't go all Hollandsworth and think he's an everyday player for next year.
