I would love to have a left fielder named not Alfonso Soriano.

 

Would he hit better than Soriano too?

 

Soriano is basically having the same offensive season Jacque Jones had last year, so sure, he might.

 

I've never thought about it like that. He really is having the same season. The only difference is its more damaging because he insists on hitting leadoff.

 

Between him and Theriot's huge swoon, its a pretty bad 1-2 for the Cubs right now.

What is wrong with this offense today? Is Looper just pitching a great game?? Given his season numbers, its hard to believe that...

 

I don't remember exactly, but I believe Looper's daytime numbers are very good, and also his 2nd half performance much better than 1st.
