K to finish it. That's a wrap.

Man this division sucks.

Anyone going to bother keeping an eye on Cards tonight?

Nah. Cards are done.

I don't think the cubs nor the brewers are capable of winning 2 games in a row.

That's not true. The Brewers could easily win 2 games in a row at home. But they'd just lose 2 games right back on the road.

I'd like to thank all of you following the game for posting. This must have been what the telegraph was like before radio.

It's hilarious how bad this division is. I guess I have to watch the Cubs tonight to see if they can tie it back up.

It's just amazing how bad these teams are. Cubs with this pitching staff should be running away with this division. It feels like 2004.

MLB should come to the decision that the Cubs and Brewers can combine their teams for the playoffs. They take the Cubs pitching and the Brewers offense. That might give them a chance to not get swept in the 1st round.

Who would you start if we could combine the teams? I think I'd get creative and go with:

Lee - LF

Hart - CF

Fielder - 1B

Braun - 3B

Ramirez - 2B

Soriano - RF

Derosa - SS

Soto - C (best catcher between the teams isn't even a starter)

Screw defense. Then...

Sheets

Lilly

Zambrano

Hill

Gallardo

Cordero

Marmol

Howry

Shouse

Wuertz

Linebrink

Dempster

I think that'd be a pretty dang good team, lets submit a request to MLB.

Hmmmm...not a bad start. I'd probably swap DeRosa for Hall (based on career numbers), move Lee to RF (remember, he has a surprisingly good arm), move Ramirez to LF, and move Soriano to 2B.

I'd probably move Braun to LF and put Ramirez at 3B. Take the defense where you can.
