I'm not sure about his status as a prospect, but after having a bad year in A ball and then having to miss the first 50 games of next season, his future as a professional baseball player is in major jeopardy at this point.

A former Cubs farmhand, catcher Ryan Jorgenson (traded to Florida in the Clement/Willis trade, now in the Reds' system) was also suspended.

I liked him when the Cubs drafted him, but he hasn't panned out as hoped. He might recover and still become a decent prospect, but I'm not holding my breath.

Scott Taylor... the only thing distinguishing about him was that he was young for his level and seemed to have decent control. He was a starter and went to the pen this year. I never had much hope for him anyway.

Jeffress was suspended last week. Both of these are recreational drug-based suspension, not PEDs.
