Josh Donaldson ROCKS!

 

How high will he be ranked on prospect lists? A supplemental pick that has a 1.062 OPS in Boise as a catcher has to be put pretty high, doesn't he?

 

The Donaldson pick was compensation for losing Pierre. Finally, the Cubs got some good value out of that Pierre trade. :D

Donaldson certainly is in my top 10 prospect list.

I think Boise has several players who can be considered as possible major contributors down the road to the organization! ;)...at least let's hope so!

Donaldson certainly is in my top 10 prospect list.

 

Ditto. He'll probably fall just outside my Top 5. I only have two worries about him the rest of the way:

 

1) Health (like with any prospect)

2) Defense

 

He still has some improvements left to make behind the dish, but he's putting up numbers that would make anyone happy (K/BB, OPS, IsoD, HRs, etc).

From what I've read, you might want to add 3) ability to deal with breaking balls at higher levels.
