ESPN showed the last out. He had a nasty breaking ball and an ump happy to help him out.

Yeah...the last pitch was low...but you gotta go up there swinging if you're the O's.

More impressive...This no-hitter in his second outing, or Kerry Wood's 20k game in his 5th outing?

Wood outing. 20K games are more impressive regardless.

Not only that, but most metrics say that it's the most dominant starting pitching performance in modern history.

Wood's game is the most dominant performance by a pitcher ever, so I'll go with that.

Yeah...there were 3 walks in this game...I'd be interested to see the game score though.

So? Buchholz has three walks, too.

Wood's game was far more impressive. There have been four 20 K games in the history of baseball. There have been 235 no-hitters.

Rocky's AL ERA is 108.00

Why does MacPhail think the crap team he put together in the NL will do any better in the AL East?

What can you say? MacPhail just loves his guys.

What do you think of Jack Morris' Game 7 of the '91 WS?

10 shutout innings.

There should have been 236, but the game scorer in the Wood Game decided otherwise. :x

If you don't look at the importance of the game, and just treat it as just another baseball game, it's nice but nowhere near as dominant as Wood's.

I put Wood's game first. Coming in a close second is Harvey Haddix's 12 perfect innings before losing.

Yeah I was referring to Buchholz's game when I mentioned the 3 walks. I wasn't disagreeing.

Wood didn't walk any. He had one hit that should have been an error.

Actually, Wood's game was single single most dominating performance all-time, according to Bill James' formula.
