Meh. The Brewers have shown they're a much better team at home than they are on the road. 15 of their next 23 games are on the road, so we'll see how they do the rest of this month.

Looking at upcoming pitching match up from ESPN .com

Brewers

Vargas @ Fogg

Capuano @ Hirsh

Gallardo @ Francis

Bush @ Jennings

Suppan @ Albers

Vargas @ Rodriguez (ESPN.com doesn't have this but those would be the next in line)

Cubs

Hill @ Rodriguez

Marshall @ Williams

Zambrano @ Oswalt

Lilly @ Jimenez

Marquis @ Cook

Hill @ Fogg

Marshall @ Hirsh (Again my prediction based on next in line

Thoughts, We miss Francis and he faces the Brewers but the Brewers have their best starter going against him. While the Brewers miss Oswalt, we've got our best pitcher going that night too, and one who has shown complete dominance over the Astros.

Sadly facing Wandy scares me even more so at home where he actually has pretty good numbers, on the other hand is there any doubt he's going to get completely abused by the Brewers?

I could be remembering wrong, but I think we tore Wandy up the last time we faced him.

yeah houston might as well spot the brewers 6 runs and put a long reliever into the game. Braun vs Wandy = batting practice.

I think so in the first series after the ASB, but no matter what has happened positively in the past I'm going to assume crappy left = doom for the foreseeable future. Wandy also has pretty drastic home/road splits.

it seems like the astros have been playing decent lately, too.

They have been outscored 61-41 in their past 6 games giving up an average of over 10 runs per game.

Yeah, I'm always concerned, but beating up Wandy last time gives me a little hope against him.
