Even though he has struggled this season, I feel 10x more confident in him at the plate than I do Hill or any of the other scrubs we've had behind the plate this year.

 

that's probably more of a statement about the quality of the other guys than it is about kendall

 

Maybe so...but for about 2 weeks now he's got on at a great pace...for the last week hitting .313 with a .421 OBP...he's not nearly as awful as some would have made him out 3 weeks ago.

I think your confidence may be misplaced. Howry has been pretty consistent, despite a couple of meltdowns. Wood hasn't pitched in the majors for about a year.

One is Kerry Wood, the other is Bob Howry.

I don't know why some of you insist that you can just keep pitching Marmol 20-30 pitches every single game with no repercussions.

 

I don't know why some of you insist upon not knowing that once you pinch hit for a pitcher he can't go back out there to pitch more.
