Griffey Talk on 670 the score (RUMOR)

Did anyone just hear that talk about Ken Griffey Jr. and the possible deal to the Cubs? The Cubs have gave the Reds an official offer I guess, something along the lines of Felix Pie, Sean Gallagher, either Matt Murton or Jacque Jones, and another minor-league pitcher. I would definitely like this trade if it went down and I hope it does by 3pm CT.

It's not that steep of an offer, especially if the Reds pay all of his contract for this season and part of next season. BTW, the contract situation may be the stiffler in these trade talks.

To get the best return they could. The reason they would trade him isn't primarily for monetary reasons.
