I have no idea who the other guy is, but this is clearly addition by subtraction. I was really hoping to see Ballfour get a chance to turn things around for Milwaukee (and watch his ERA approach 57.31 in the process).

McClung is a high velocity/no control reliever/spot starter.

He is a guy who throws hard, but somehow managed a .87 k/bb so far this season. His career k/bb is 1.14, his career era is 6.23 (6.29 this season), has a gb/fb ratio of less than 1, and gives up a lot of home runs, in addition to a lot of walks (.6 BB per IP). He also has a career WHIP of 1.68 (1.83 this season).

And despite his tendency to light up the radar gun, he doesn't really strike guys out (6.31 K/0 career, 5.17 this season).

He's bad. Real bad.
