Got 61 points from everyone on my team excluding Brees and Moore. Got I believe 78 points from Moore and Brees to claim victory. Oh and I should be taking over first place. Lick'em!

By first place I meant points. No really I meant points not overall standings. You don't believe me? Well well ... yeah ok I miscalculated and I'm still in second.

Thanks for giving back 2nd place and the overall points title.

I had something to do with that. :(

Getting single digits from Peyton Manning is not conducive to winning in fantasy football.

Don't be too hard on yourself, I've got the best score in the league so far and I still have Andre Johnson playing tonight. Even if you had started Ryan over Manning, you still be losing.

Looks like if everything stays on track the first round of the playoffs should go pretty smoothly as well. I've got Anquan going against Stl and I've got the same Den/KC matchup that helped me to over 160pts in week 4.

I wasn't really trying to be hard on myself. I clinched a playoff spot with a couple weeks remaining in the regular season; I'm not that concerned about my seeding going into the playoffs, because in the leagues I've been in (both baseball and football) rarely has the regular season champion also won the playoffs (including last year in our league when I won the playoffs but not the regular season).

I was trying to be sarcastic/witty, but that never turns out to well over message boards I guess.

I know what you mean with how the playoffs can turn out. I only had 1 fantasy baseball team this year, and was rather disappointed when I finished the regular season in 6th place. I finished strong in the playoffs though and ended up winning the league championship in a match over the #5 team. The regular season #1 ended up finishing 3rd in the playoffs.

I think I beat CubbieBum this week
You have unless McGehee is out of this world and the Ravens' defense has a total meltdown. If tonight's game is something like 77-70 then you may be in trouble.

I definitely beat Wilmo (Douchebag Pierzinski). I'm up 111.48 to 89.58, and all of his players are finished while I still have the Carolina defense tomorrow night (I may bench them as a defensive move to protect against a negative score). And that's after getting zero points from one of my running back positions due to Barber's injury (I had no choice but to use a backup, and I chose the wrong one; Rhodes actually had double digits).

Congratz CT, my team laid a big fat turd today.

I don't have live scoring on Yahoo.

It's over (neither of you have a player in the Monday night game). You won 135.06 to 74.8. Looks like you play Fighting CTs in the semifinals while I play GEOVANY SOTO. If everything goes right it can be an all-North Carolina final.

Well my team rolled all season long and then crapped out right at the end. I hate when that happens. I'll go cry in the corner.

Except for #1 vs. #8 the lower seeded team won every match this week. And none of the matches were that close (the margin of victory in every match was over 15 points).

Barber sounds iffy again this week (expected to be a gametime decision, which is not a good thing for a Sunday night game). Meanwhile, Addai may miss this week's game with a shoulder injury, so Rhodes (who's already been putting up good numbers despite playing behind Addai) could put up big numbers. Three Colts in my lineup against the Lions. =P~

My team has exploded today, thanks guys! You really showed up when I needed you. The lowest score on my team right now is SD's defense with 14.7 points ](*,) ](*,)

whats the score of my game?

You are winning 144.14-57.18 over CT. He's still got TO, Phil Dawson, and the Philly defense that haven't even started yet. Baltimore's D is your last active scoring chance, and they've scored 23.8 so far.

You ended up with 148.8 points. CT has 57.78 points right now with his 3 guys left. Even if they reach their project totals, you would win by about 50 right now.

So much for my hopes of repeating as champion. I got good production from Manning and Rhodes but needed more from Johnson and Harrison.

Over 74 points combined from Manning and Rhodes. If only they did that last week against the crappy Lions I'd be playing for a second straight championship instead of 3rd place.

Could be worse. You could have finished 3rd in regular season and be playing in the 7th place game.

This is true. 3rd place >>>>7th place (3rd place also >>>> missing the playoffs altogether, as I did in my other league despite starting 5-0).

And the league championship has been decided. I Want Eazy E defeated Geovany Soto 130.58-119.10 (neither team has any active players in the Monday night game). I think this is the first time I've been in a fantasy league where a team with a losing record in the regular season won the championship.
