The guy in first has already stopped checking his team (still got Alex Smith on his team). Make sure he isn't allowed back.

That's one of this year's newcomers. I think it's premature to say that he's stopped checking; the list of managers shows that he's been active as recently as earlier this week (Monday). Smith is still on his team, but on his bench, not in his active lineup. He may just be waiting to decide who to replace him with. We have quite a deep bench in our league, so having a player on IR on your bench doesn't necessarily mean someone has stopped being active.

That would be me, and I've been checking my team. I've just got ADD when it comes to fantasy sports, I've been telling myself to get rid of him but just hadn't gotten around to it. To appease you, he has been dropped.

My offense was putrid this week and I had the third lowest score in the league. Fortunately my opponent had the second lowest score (he started a quarterback in his bye week), so I won by slightly over one point. That's living a charmed life.

Talk about ridiculous extremes this past week. One team scored 140.66 points and lost, another team scored 31.3 points and won.

Well Cutler almost got half of what my team's projected total was tonight. The rest of the week should be easy, hopefully I'm not in for a letdown.

Its really nice to clinch a playoff spot right now, especially with how horrible my remaining schedule is.

I haven't clinched yet, but I'm two games ahead of the first two teams currently out of playoff position with only three weeks remaining, so I feel pretty good about my chances. My running game should be in good shape for the first time all year with Barber back from bye week and Johnson playing against somebody other than the Bears' run defense. This will be the first week all year I don't need to start the likes of Rudi Johnson or Edgerrin James at one of my RB positions.

My team is on fire now. Manning and Harrison are back in synch and, after trades and the end of bye weeks, I have a strong running game (it may have been the worst in the league at the start of the season, but having Eli Manning and Reggie Wayne as trade bait can turn that around). You can all go ahead and concede another championship to me now and save the heartache of shattered dreams. :P
