Our catchers are atrocious. Do we have the worst catching combo (offensive-wise) in MLB?

how many catchers in MLB are considered an actual offensive threat?

Pudge?

Victor Martinez

Jorge Posada

Russell Martin

Joe Mauer

Brian McCann

Kenji Johjima

(to some extent now) Pudge

But most teams have catchers who aren't a complete black hole on offense.

Well, we gave them a gift run that inning. Let's not do that anymore. It would also be nice if the offense scored a couple more.

steve phillips saying TLR has done a great job this year because the cards have been outscored by 80 runs and are only 6 games under .500. Yup, great managing and not luck.

What's great about being 6 games under?
