It's to early to be cheering for the Cards. They are only 6 in back of us and only 8 1/2 games in back of the Breweres. Remember not so long ago we were 8 1/2 games back.

A team that is only 1 game back of the Cubs is a bigger threat than a team that is 6 games back.

If they begin to catch up, we'll worry about that later.

A team that is only 1 game back you is only a threat to you if you aren't taking care of your own business !!!

I am not concerned with the WC until we get to Mid August. I don't want a team in our division that we face 10 more times to be on any kind of roll.

We play them next week to make sure that doesn't happen. The Cards simply do not have the talent this year.

The Marlins' Scott Olsen was suspended by the team last week for insubordination and now this!

Florida Marlins pitcher Scott Olsen was arrested early Saturday morning in Aventura, Fla., the Miami Herald reports. Police said the third-year Marlins starting pitcher refused to pull over during a traffic stop.

He was charged with driving under the influence, resisting arrest with violence and fleeing and eluding a police officer.

The early morning arrest occurred hours after Olsen logged seven innings and a win against the Cincinnati Reds in his first game back from serving a two-game suspension for fighting with a teammate.

This kid sounds like he has some issues.

He is/was a Cubs fan. Grew up in Antioch, I believe.

Looks like I can get WTMJ 620 in my apartment in Chicago. Looks like I'll be listening to the Brewers' broadcast.

I'm listening too but the signal isn't good during the day for me so I've got Gameday Audio going.

Yeah, it's not great, but definitely good enough. I've stopped paying for MLB's services since I moved to Chicago.
