It appears you can view the whole game for about a week after the game was played. The last Cubs game I could view in it's entirety was last Thursday against Texas. You can, however, view the top plays from every game.

 

They were/are running a special free-view. If you are a subscriber, like me, you can view the archives for an entire year (I have access to all of the 2006 games through the beginning of Spring Training 2008--not that many are worth seeing again).
