Leon Johnson seems to be enjoying Mesa so far.

 

He and Cliff Andersen (who's more advanced than Drew Rundle at this point) are ready to leave but they have too many OF at Boise. I guess Johnson could go to Peoria (AZ Phil was saying Leon was advanced enough for hte move).

just thought I'd mention that, when Mateo pitched, we had a significant number of scouts in the stands. I'm sure this was partially just the time of year, but there were at least 6 guns on him at every pitch (beyond the one our pitchers and their pitchers were using). When the opposing pitcher was up there, only 2 of those guns were being used, so have to think the scouts were there to evaluate Mateo.
