I remember hearing that earlier too. That's why I was caught by surprise when they reported it.

I was thinking the same thing as well (with regards to trading to the Nats). Bring Cedeno up and send Theriot down.

I'm so glad that Jim held out for Izturis instead of taking silly prospects for Maddux.

 

 

(I acknowledge the uncertainty about the sequence of events there, but Hendry certainly could have pushed for prospects instead of Izzy whether there was ever a solid offer there or not)
