I was at the game last night and missed Vance :( I will say this it was so freaking hot I understood why Marshall was pulled, not becuse of the lack of good pitches but it was and humid exhausting heat, I can see why jason, if he sweats a lot could have trouble.

 

It was so oppressive that I didn't move for 20 min. after my run this morn.

I can see why some of these guys look the way they do.

How many millions did Cubs give to Sammy Sosa to play baseball? 100 million?

 

The home run better not be seen as some sort of revenge.

 

Paying him market value for his production doesn't make it alright for them to crap all over him and his Cub career just because he left the last game of a frustrating season a few innings early.

 

The idea of it being revenge is stupid, though. I'd think of it more as poetic justice.

 

i am having a tough time at the moment...i mean...the steroids...that IS no bueno...but...the corked bat always really really really pissed me off and still really really really pisses me off...BIG TIME!

 

however...now that he hit it off marquis with him wearing #21 and all...i don't know...if that isn't a storyline then i don't know what one is...so...yeah
