Will we ever see a no-hitter?

 

Yeah. By the other team.

Not that either. I believe the Cubs have the longest or one of the longest streaks of not being no-hit.

The Cubs haven't been no hit since Sandy Koufax's perfect game in Sept. 1965.

Watching these offenses is like hearing nails on a chalkboard today. Luckily other parts have made up for that.

been alot longer since we were no-hit than since we've thrown one. I'm fine with continuing that trend, as long as both hold true.

my best friend lives in wrigleyville and was in detroit for work. he just happened to go to that game...amazing

Well, to be fair, two great starting pitchers started the day, and after Lee was kicked out the Cubs offense consists of 4 middle infielders playing the entire infield, the backup catcher, and two outfielders who cannot hit left-handers (and that's what they faced for a few innings). It doesn't lend itself to runs.
