So what happened to me? Why did I only pitch 3 innings? Did I get injured?

Can't find anything but I have to think so. Taylor normally is economical with his pitches so I don't think he'd hit his pitch count and he had done well in 3 innings.

Knoxville News-Sentinel[/url]"]The former Arizona Diamondback's days with the Smokies are numbered.

"He came down here on a mission," Listach said. "I don't want to get rid of him but he is going to have to go somewhere."

Kroeger will be missed in the lineup as well as the clubhouse.

"He is a joy to be around," Listach said. "Some of these other kids are watching how he goes about his business. He is a true professional."

Winning - batting or first-half title - isn't a priority for the 24-year-old from San Diego. His goal is returning to the major leagues."I've had success at Double-A before," he said. "I'm not looking to stay here much longer. I'm not in control of that. I'll just keep playing and what happens will happen."

West Tenn manager Eddie Rodriguez played second baseman Luis Valbuena in shallow right field to cool off Kroeger. The left-handed hitter foiled the alignment with a line drive over Valbuena's head.

Kroeger admits he noticed West Tenn's shift, which also includes the third baseman lined up where a shortstop might play a right-handed pull hitter.

Nope. I guess I should've paid more attention to the game I was pitching in. :P
