Daytona was rained out.

Tennessee currently trails Montgomery 4-1 in the bottom of the 3rd. Kroeger is 2/2 with a double and an RBI. Simokaitis has a double and Fuld and Fox are each 1/2.

Just realised I can listen to the Tennessee game, though its a little blurry on MILB.com

Ed - Though I realised just in time to hear the double play that ended the game 12-1 in favour of Montgomery.

This can't possibly be right. If anything, the game was probably wildfired out.

It was "postponed: other."

They're not playing a make-up game, either. The game was called for 'smoke', which is a new one on me.

There are alot of wildfires in southern GA. Today much of the smoke from those fires is covering the entire northern part of FL from one side of the state to the other in thick smoke. Its hazardous I think to breathe alot of. Im not sure why they would call the game I dont know really the phisical impacts of being out in the stuff but I can tell you here on the west side of the state near Tampa its very apparent, smelly nasty air.

visibility at one of the Tampa airports was as low as half a mile this morning because of the smoke... they probably could've played, but it wouldn't have been pleasant for the fans/players.

As someone who lives in wildfire country, let me just say you should consider yourself lucky.

Here's to Ronny tearing up AAA again and remembering how to hit big league pitching.

box score says he was pinch run for after walking... not sure what that's about

Good catch, I missed that.

Ronny Cedeno walks.

Coaching visit to mound.

Injury Delay.

Offensive Substitution: Pinch runner Mike Fontenot replaces Ronny Cedeno.

There were two injury substitutions after back-to-back ABs. It was a strange inning.

Then here's to Ronny learning to walk again and eventually getting back into baseball shape so he can tear up AAA and remember how to hit big league pitching.

jake renshaw looked really good tonight. i'm not sure how reliable the scoreboard radar gun is, because no one tonight topped 88 mph. but his pitches looked nasty, and he's got a really weird delivery. i'll put up some vids of it and other vids from the game in a second.

ryno is either a really bad 3rd base coach or a really good one judging from today's game. 2 runs scored today for the chiefs where ryno waved the runner in, the ball beat them to the plate by a significant margin, but the catcher somehow goofed the play and they scored. it happened twice, so maybe ryno knows something i don't, but the throw beat them each time.

I've heard his delivery is an injury waiting to happen from one person who saw him in Boise last season.

Also, he was in the low 90s in junior college and Boise last season...
