The trend of terrible calls continues at Yankee Stadium. Bloomquist was sliding towards 2B and was tagged a good 2 feet from the bag and was called safe. :shock:

Wow. The umpires rule a HR a 2B that would've given the Rocks a 1 run lead in the 9th against the Cards.

That run was later forced in on a bases loaded walk: TLR ordered an IBB to a batter with a 2-1 count to load the bases only to have the next batter force in a run. :headscratcher:

Oh well it's early, we are playing well. Both teams will start playing harder teams, AND eachother. It will be interesting. Here's to the cubs just continuing to get further away from .500 and not even worrying about the "GB" at this point.
