ah christ, fire quade

Why didn't he run?

Still hurt? Nonetheless. Stupid. You take runs when you get them. And that was a run.

if he can't score on that, he doesn't need to hit lead off.

if it was Quade's fault, fire him. . . . .we've had too many 3rd base mishaps on the basepaths.

Since I don't have WCIU, I'm stuck watching the Cards game. The Cards announcers are talking about Helton's goatee and how it "keeps the gypsies away."

I'm so happy to have had such great luck with announcers for the Cubs.

I feel sorry for you. Well, actually I feel sorry for me too, because I'm in the exact same spot.

You don't know how good you've got it until you hear Al Hrabosky.

With no outs I could understand..Because that gives you another chance to get the runner in with contact..But with an out already..You have to take the chance..With 2 outs..You have to really hope to get a base hit..which is rare

And the Cubs don't score. Way to go, Quade. And I'm going to continue to call you Quade, not that "Qua-dee" crap.

Soriono appeared to run back on his own, it wasn't Quade.

incredibly bad coaching or baserunnning... not sure which. It's a moderately deep fly ball with a fast runner. Inexcuseable error.

he's not 100% so he didn't feel comfortable. That's the only explanation.

What a waste of AB. Theriot and Dlee did what they had to do and they still don't score. Arhh!

whether this was quade this time or not, he still sucks. the cubs have left half a dozen runs at 3rd base because of him

Same reason he's hitting leadoff when he can't get on base. It's the Cubs.
