105 pitches... ehhh, undecided here.

Pull him and turn it over to Wuertz

Let him finish.

PC is 101? Send him out and let him finish it or let Wuertz take care of it? I put in Wuertz simply for the fact that Marquis has a history of being crap in the 2nd half. Less wear and tear now may help out later.

Aside from the injury risk involved in leaving a starter in the game for too long, there's research that shows a strong correlation between a high pitch count in one game and a poor performance in the subsequent start.

I have no problem with removing Jason. He threw a gem, was about where I'd want him to be cutoff pitch count wise, and it's a save opportunity.

My problem is with pinch hitting him with Ward...I would have rather let Marquis bat and then make the switch. :D

However, since he took a walk, I take it back.

Demp is warming now. He wants a save apparently b/c Wuertz was up.

Cedeno PR for Ward

I'm not sure about that move.

I have no problem with that. Ward needs to hit some to stay sharp, Marquis had a good day and with a 3 run lead there shouldn't be any issues with leaving the bench short. Plus, you still have Murt available.
