I'm going at this by process of elimination. I'm guessing it wasn't Juan Pierre or Jacque Jones.

I think it was Pierre IIRC. I also think assists can be a misleading stat; guys tend to run more on noodle arms like Pierre so they get more assist chances.

I agree that assists can be a very misleading stat, and your answer is correct. Juan Pierre was the last to accomplish that last year.
