I wasn't quizzing anybody. I knew that was the trivia question on one of last week's games and I didn't see the answer.

I guessed Glendon Rusch or Lance Dickson.

Wait... seriously?

Check out Lance Dickson's numbers. Definitely a joke.

Dickson was drafted in the 1st round of the 1990 draft. Made his ML debut on August 9, 1990 and played his final game on August 18, 1990. Did he get injured or could he just not get the job done?

Lance had serious arm/shoulder injuries. They were such that they just shut him down and he was never heard from again. I dont think they could fix him. I remember being really excited about him at one time.

He looked like a can't-miss. He progressed through the entire system all the way up to the majors the summer he was drafted. Although he struggled at the major league level, he looked like a strong candidate to win a spot in the rotation the next spring. Unfortunately his injury problems already started and his major league career was over before it really got started.

Hey, he won 3 Cy Youngs in my MVP dynasty!

EDIT: He is also the only pitcher I got a perfect game with.

his curveball is nasty. ANY lefty curveball is nasty. Only no-hitter I ever threw was with Jimmy freaking Gobble because of his curveball.

I believe he works in real estate now in Arizona. If you google him, you will see it.
