I don't care anymore.

I just want him to make a run at the single season record. I really can't stand Barry Bonds.

Did anyone else hear Dusty's explanation of ARod's homerun. He had at least 10 "uh's" in there. This is comical.

He's said the same story about his playing days three times in this game already. And his mic wasn't muted when he was talking to the producers either. This game is great just for this reason.

Oh me too. I just don't care because the Cubs have me "baseball depressed".

After ARod's second homerun:

"I wonder if it would have been a home run if (Crisp) would have caught the ball and fallen over the fence. Well, it doesn't matter because he didn't catch it." - John Kruk

It's the top of the 9th in the Houston-Milwaukee game.

There were runners on 1st and 2nd with no outs.

The Houston batter put a bunt down, and Estrada threw to third to get the lead runner, who was called safe.

That's an annoyingly bad play, and it's one I've seen the Cubs make often.

It's much more important to get the out in that situation than it is to get the lead runner.

Florida, in the bottom of the 13th inning, is calling for Olivo to bunt with a runner on 2nd and no outs.

Kansas City, with runners on 1st and 2nd and a two-run lead, calls for Mark Teahen to bunt.

Lidge is awful!

HOU took a 4 run lead in the top of the 9th on a GS by Biggio then Lidge comes out to walk two and serve up a 3 run homer.

Miller throws 2 balls and Garner decides to put the winning run on base.

I really hate the Astros, but with the Brewers in the division lead I'm really split on the outcome of this game.

I REALLY want MIL to lose. I don't want them getting on a roll!

And they do, and now Mil and Houston are tied for the division lead.

HOU 9-6

MIL 9-7

My math sucks tonight. So Houston is up by .5 game. And I guess we're 4 back now.

3.5, just like yesterday. Remember, MIL lost so the Cubs didn't lose ground in the standings even though the leader changed. I'll be rooting for MIL (and the Cubs) tomorrow.
