This makes me smile. Sammy doesn't hit HR much anymore, and he bombs one last night. He doesn't walk much anymore, and he draws one to be the only baserunner, short-lived as it was. I'd say his personal trip was a successful one.

Bonds just hit a homer to tie the game with STL. It's the first time I rooted for him to hit one!

 

I've never rooted for Bonds to hit a home run. As far as I'm concerned, this game is a lose-lose situation because one of the two teams has to win. And now my pain is compounded by Barroid hitting a home run.

 

My only saving grace is the Lakers beating the Kings today.

no this friend is impressed with ARam's growth as a defensive 3B and admits he's one of the best hitting 3Bs in the league and that Rolen is getting old and washed out.
