Call Mark Prior back up to the majors.

He hasn't looked any better.

His past 2 starts have been pretty good.

Define Pretty good?

pretty good as said by person on the scene, namely Bruce Miles.

So have Miller's..

Not if you count today as one of his last 2. I'm not panicking about Miller, I was just saying that Prior has been looking pretty good.

Pretty good from his pervious starts which were beyond aweful. C'mon guys Mark Prior still needs a lot of work to do.

About 3-4 starts according to most. I'd rather just wait it out, He's probably likely to get two of those starts by the time Miller gets one. I'd rather Miller not do bad though, as to get more out of a trade involving him.

Agreed...Let's see him get through those 3-4 starts without injury and I'll be a happy man...

Prior is pissed.

"I'm not going down that road," he said. "I'm under their control until I'm not under their control. It's up to them whether they want me. I'm just an employee."

Prior doesn't become a free agent until after the 2008 season, and does not have enough service time to prevent the Cubs from sending him to Iowa. He called himself an employee several times during a session with reporters, suggesting he doesn't believe he has a long-term future with the Cubs.

"Look, I'm a controlled player," he said. "There's nothing I can do with what their decisions are, so I'm not going to sit there and fight it. I don't really have a whole lot of control, and until you get in a position where you have any leverage, then maybe you can argue and try to find out what other options there are.

"When there are no other options, and they've made a decision, you accept it, move on, and I'm going to play ball." Asked if the demotion has changed his opinion of the organization, Prior mentioned his teammates while avoiding answering the question.
