Interesting that he'd mention Farnsworth and his work ethic. Kyle always strikes people as talented, but not hard-working. I mean, it's always been obvious that he put his time in the weight room, but off-field escapades left me with the impression that he didn't work as hard as he should.

Barrett's complete answer to that question led me to believe he was talking more about weight room activities and less about anything specific to pitching.

That would make sense, I just thought it left open the possbility that he's more disciplined in regards to his baseball-specific work than I would have thought.

Stupid ESPN. My insider privileges are currently nonexistent because I am apparently in the last 2 months of my magazine subscription. I can reinstate the last 2 months of insider by agreeing to pay the whatever it is for next year's membership. I bought a 4 year subscription to the magazine (for $6.39 on ebay), but it hasn't processed yet.
