Miller's final line:

4 IP

5 H

2 R

2 ER

2 BB

5 SO

1 HR

4.00 ERA

Wouldn't it be a 4.50 ERA?

the ERA is cumulative of all ST appearances. 4 runsin 9 IP

I'm more pessimistic than most of Miller's performances. WHIP is way to high. Today would be a 1.75 WHIP...not good. Too many guys getting on bases, eventually, you give up too many runs. He's had some luck on his side to not have an ERA closer to 6.

I agree! Miller isn't missing enough bats for my liking...

That's the same thing he did at the end of last year as well-1.71 WHIP, 4.57 ERA. I have no idea if he'll be able to continue that or not.

What is this last year you speak of?

Are you trying to forget 2006 that much :D BTW, I made this post because I forgot to add that was in 5 starts last year.

You must be mistaken. There has been no baseball since 2003

Cotts seems to be kinda not good. I hope he doesnt't get a spot over Wuertz.
I'm starting to think we might have been fleeced in the Aardsma deal. It's still too early to make that call, but I have yet to see anything to the contrary...

As bad as Cotts has been, Aardsma's doing MUCH worse. I heard the Sox might be about to release him.

I hadn't heard that but Aardsma is definitely in danger of going back to the MiLs.
