Kevin was a player who had to hit very well to make it to the show as he was defensively challenged. He did OK, but....

 

It was fun watching him hit for Boise though.

Looks like he split time between Peoria and Palm Beach (St. Louis) last year. He's never played above high A ball, and he'll be 26 this year.

what I remember of him in Peoria was that he was injured just about the entire time he was here. He stayed in Mesa waiting for something to heal, then joined the Chiefs, then promptly reinjured things (think it was a foot?)

 

What I remember most, though, is he seemed more intent on chasing skirts than getting himself healed and ready to play again. Truly thought he was god's gift. Anyway, don't think we lost anything and I can't blame the Cubs for cutting him loose.
