The Washington Nationals today added depth to their starting rotation by agreeing to terms with 25 year-old right-handed pitcher Jerome Williams on a one-year contract.

 

If that's depth, the Nationals are swimming in a shallow pool.

If the Nationals are so desperate for pitching why dosen't Hendry just give them someone like Mateo,Marmol,Guzman for Church..Im sure they'd do it with how badly they need pitching

he went from throwing mid nineties heat in 03 and 04 to a very average 88 -90mph fast ball in 05 and to date. Seems like a lack of conditioning hasn't exactly helped him regain his form. But I wouldn't rule out the use performance enhancers
