Tigers signed LHP Felix Heredia to a minor league contract.

 

Heredia, who last pitched in the majors in April 2005, currently has a 1.67 ERA in 37 2/3 innings in the Dominican Winter League. He'll likely have to work his way back to the majors by turning in a couple of good months at Triple-A Toledo.
