ANOTHER QB decision

Here it is again, Vick or Brees.

 

I started Vick last week because I thought he would be able to run (and throw) all over the Lions D. Not to mention the fact that he had been on freakin fire the past two weeks. Turns out he scored seven darn points.

 

Oh, and Brees went and threw for like 300-some yards and 3 TD.

 

So This week Vick gets to play Cleveland, a TERRIBLE run defense.

Brees is playing Pittsburgh. What do I do?

 

I'm tempted to go with Vick if for no other reason then its cleveland. But Brees is coming of a HOT week. HELPPPP

I'd go with the hot hand (Brees). If Vick can't cut it against Detroit (which isn't exactly the 1985 Bears), I don't know if I'd go with him against Cleveland either. And Pittsburgh is a disaster this year, so Brees might do well.

Vick is flukey. He may have a great game, he may not. I still say he's way overrated. Brees has been very consistent for the most part. I'd go with Brees.

 

EDIT: Brees lowest passing rating all season is 67.4...Vick has been below that 4 times on the season.

Vick and Brees are #4 and #5 overall at QB in standard Yahoo scoring, so it's nice to have your problem.

 

I'd go with Vick without much hesitation. My projections have him worth about 3 points more than Brees in week 10.

I agree. It takes 50 throwing yards to get 1 point but only 20 rushing. However...You cant compete with 300+ yards and 3 TD's

As a Bears fan I have a QB dilemma as well. I have Grossman on all three of my fantasy teams, but lately the trend has been that Grossman sucks when he's in my lineup but plays great when I bench him. He was in my lineup against the Cardinals and the Dolphins, but benched against the 49ers and the Giants. Fortunately I have other options (Rivers, McNair, Eli Manning). Maybe the solution is to start Grossman in at least one of my leagues but not all of them.
