Sheffield to be traded?

I saw last night on Sportscenter that they were reporting the yankees had a deal in place to send Sheffield to either the Cubs or Phillies, but Cashman was waiting to see if a better offer came up. Didn't see this posted anywhere else. What would people give up to get Sheffield if they even want him? He is getting quite old and his defense is getting very limited, but he is a pretty solid offensive player still.
