No Veal, Pie, or Fox?

Sorry, I don't buy that they aren't all in the top 10 at their respective positions. I guess that's why I don't pay for BA, though...

Well, I can see why Pie didn't make the top 10 in CF. That list is pretty stacked.

I was surprised to see EPat up there. Must be based on scouts' ideas of his advancement. He certainly didn't merit the callup to AAA on numbers.

Wilken to the rescue, please.

Thanks Serena.

Can't say I agree with Pie being lower than Gomez and Martinez, and I think you could make a case for him being better than Fowler, Ellsbury, and to a lesser extent Rasmus. It's like they stopped paying attention to what happened to him at the All-Star break or something.

Remember our future hall of famers Choi, Hill Kelton, Cruz, and Guzman. Remember the Yankees had a bottom of the league prospects with Wang, Cano, and Hughs. Maybe Baseball America is as acurate on prospects as we are.

No one is great with prospect projections. Guz isn't quite a bust yet either unless you're talking about a different Guz.

That's a large overstatement on both sides.

Future Hall of Famers? And is Guzman really a bust already?

Wang was rated low by most people, not just BA (partly due to shoulder injuries). Your criticism of the Yankees being rated low despite the trio of Wang, Cano and Hughes isn't that great when one considers Hughes was a prospect at the same time as the other two for just his first 5 pro innings (after which, Wang and Cano didn't qualify for prospect lists).

BA certainly has it's issues (it's love affair with tools), but they are more accurate than many of us.

our system sucks.

To tell you the truth I'm not so sure Pie could fit himself into that list.

I'm just not a Pie fan. He's sooo raw right now it's ridiculous and alot of those guys are way more polished, younger, and have just as much if not more upside.
