That Lewis & Allen for Dirk & Okur deal is looking mighty cursed. I got the worst of it with Lewis & Allen (Dirk shouldn't miss any time, I don't think). I guess that's what you get for dealing TMac a few weeks before his back acts up again.

Jan 8 Davis hurt both wrists while trying to dunk in Saturday's game against Seattle and played with pain in Sunday's loss to Phoenix, the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

 

Recommendation: "I have no range of motion in my right wrist and my left wrist ... is sore when I extend it," Davis said. "I'm just going to tape it up, probably (use an entire) box or something." Davis played 32 minutes against Phoenix on Sunday and scored 17 points on 8-for-17 shooting. We will monitor this situation but it looks like Davis will continue to play this week despite the pain.

I'd feel bad for you, but I'm the guy that traded him Dirk and Okur for Ray Allen (who then missed a month) and Lewis (who is out 2-3 months).

 

I'm convinced he puts a curse on the guys he trades away. :wink:

My team is hard to beat when fully healthy, but it hasn't been there really all season. Those numbers are a little skewed with Lewis out. But I think we tied 4/4/1 the last time we played, so I'd like to come away with a victory this week...

 

Wouldn't mind a big ticket trade myself, but having difficulty getting much of a response from many teams.

Yeah - traded away a few big guys this year (Okur, Dirk, TD, DHow) and none of the trades have really worked out in my favor. LeBron's foot isn't helping any (also didn't expect Lewis back quite so soon).

 

Getting Pierce and Shaq back helps you a lot too.

If Shard is healthy, he is as good of a fantasy player as LeBron.

 

I loved that deal, because I thought it really weakened Pistulls' great depth.

While I agree that Shard is probably equal to LeBron when he's healthy, at the time of the trade, there was a Q as to how long Shard would be out and no guarantee about how good he would be when he got back. Might end up regretting that part, but if this league really continues next year and beyond, I don't think I'll regret acquiring LeBron (unless Shard is actually entering his prime and not just playing extra hard b/c it's his walk year).

 

As for depth - meh. This is a relatively shallow league with only 8 guys. After that trade, added David West, who is likely to average about 20/9 with about 1 steal and 1 block per game with good %s for a PF. He's not DHow, but he shouldn't be sitting on the waiver wire either.
