the problem is jim hendry seems to be making sure guzman doesnt have a rotation spot.

 

so we're going to have to pray for the inevitable injuries to Prior/Miller and I guess Lilly now. Even though the results weren't there it wasnt hard to see how far his changeup progressed over the course of the season trying to get it back to the dominant pitch it was in 03.

hmm injury related? he allowed a homer in the first and then two hits to lead off the second and removed him? Maybe he was on a pitch count, but I find that highly unlikely considering he didnt walk anyone and only struck out one and he pitched four innings or so last time iirc.

I find it slightly humorous that the scrappy Ronny Cedeno is 0 for 3 in SB attempts, but the bulky Henry Blanco is 2 for 3 in SB attempts
