Strange Post-Season Entries

Okay, let's be honest. Who predicted that 2 teams from the AL Central and 2 teams from the NL West would make the post-season? :roll:

I don't think AL Central is that much of a stretch. The two that made it maybe. The Sox were contendors, the Indians should have been, the Twins usually win...

The NL West just happen to be the beneficiaries of a pretty lackluster NL. But hey, I wouldn't be complaining if the Cubs would have snuck in like that.

I'll agree with that. I think a lot of people had the Yanks/Red Sox making the playoffs but like you said, the White Sox/Indians both making it wasn't much of a stretch going into the season. As for the NL, I don't think many people had two teams coming out of the NL West.
