It doesn't really to me with the roster we have assembled. We have a few players that do a great deal better when they hit a pitch early in the count-Jones is a perfect example of this. When they get deeper in the count, that usually means they are getting behind in the count, which leads to bad outs for these types of hitters. When aggressive hitters are hitting well, their pitch count tends to go down because they are attacking the first good pitch they see and hitting it hard somewhere-when they are having problems, they swing and miss at bad pitches and might never see a good pitch in the at-bat.
