First the Rockies beat the Giants 20-8 today. Then the Dodgers beat the Padres (to regain first place) on a walk off 2 run homer in the bottom of the tenth by NOMAAHHHH after the Padres scored one in the top of the 10th. This game was 4-4 going into the eighth inning. The Padres were winning 9-5 going into the bottom of the ninth as well but the Dodgers hit back to back to back to back (yes that's right, 4) home runs to start the ninth inning to tie the game at 9. WOW.

Just saw the highlights on Sportscenter. Amazing. Makes you wish the North Side of Chicago had a baseball team to root for. Seems like it would be fun.

 

BTW, did the Rockies forget to put the balls in the humidor or something? As a side thought, wouldn't it be cool if on random days, without telling anyone, they didnt put the ball in the humidor. That random variable would make it awesome.

The Padres actually had a 4-0 lead after 1, so they blew two 4-run leads.

 

Drew, Martin and Anderson actually hit HRs on back-to-back-to-back pitches.

 

Bochy shouldn't have sat down Hoffman even with the 4-run lead. At least keep him warming up, because, you know, Adkins isn't good.
