This thought was brought on by something JGalt73 said in the "Biggest Disappointments" thread about the Cleveland Indians. So I figured I would post the expected won/loss records for all of the MLB teams through today's games and based the standings off of those records:

Who was this made by, and when was this predicted.

Even though the Cubs are close to their prediction, I find it hard to beleive anyone predicted that record before the year, and before DLee's injury. .

I think by expected this is meant to be the Pythagorean record which is based on RS/RA, right?

Yeah, that's it. I guess I should have clarified. I got my expected W/L records from ESPN.com

It's not predicted by anyone. The expected win/lose records are produced using a formula.

if you have a chance, go look at the adjusted standings on baseballprospectus (you may be able to get there without being a member - search adjusted standings). the AL Central is very very good. the NL Central? Not so much. the Cubs are the worst team in the major leagues.
