his fastball has good movement? I always thought it was pretty straight, but deceptive because he leans back and hides his release with the high elbow.

 

Pat and Ron made a reference to the movement on his fastball last night and how that was unusual for Hill.

he's been the cubs' best starter this month (aka when he finally had some security in the rotation). so yeah, i'd say he's done pretty well...not too shabby for a one pitch AAAA loogy.[/quote]

That was sarcasm based on what many of the Hill haters had called him for the better part of a year prior to that post.

So is everyone going to go back through the old posts in every thread and highlight their amazing prognostication abilities now?

 

 

As someone who has been rooting for Hill throughout the last two years, I hope he has a great year this year as well. But not because it would prove me right and I could shove it in people's faces-because it would help the Cubs win games.

for me, it's equal parts both of those two things and the fact that he's on my fantasy team.
