I'd say its a very big week for me and just about nobody else. I have to win to stay alive whereas tim can lose as long as he wins next week.

I just need everyone off the DL and/or at full strength. As much as the guys on the DL hurts, Gomes and Ensberg playing through shoulder injuries that sap their power has hurt nearly as much.

gah, should have started sheets this week...man, has he been hot/cold since he came back from injury. thankfully, i knew myers would kill the cubs, so i left him out there.

i was getting soooo close to catching tim for total points...soooo close.

Ah, Millwood. I will need better pitching to beat Juan and Tim.

It is not helping matters that Rios has not been the same since his staph infection.

BTW - Am I the only one who thinks that the Cubs have some decent young pitching. I know they have been inconsistent, but Marshall, Mateo, Marmol, Guzman, Hill, and company give me hope for the future.

Bad news and good news for me today. Bad news: Hamels got mercilessly pounded, so bad he already has negative points even before the deductions for total bases allowed. Good news: At least it was the Cubs that inflicted the damage. :D

It should be noted that GHS's defense has been pretty good this year too.

It's probably because they have Clemens in the rotation. That's a lot of respect right there. Although, Rich Hill was recently added to the rotation, so that might make the club more vulnerable with the rook in there. And Papelbon too, there's no respect there...

lol :)

That is all that I can say, except to add

"I can't, nor would any manager, fault a player for such a hustling mistake" Rick Sutcliffe. :wtg:

yeah, i enjoyed that too. the first few innings of this broadcast were just brutal...i have it on mute now.

Well, I think that with my victory this week and with Lynx' apparent loss to Fuzzy that I win the west during the regular season.

Hopefully my team will come together for the playoffs.
