In English news Liverpool may be fixing to swap Crouch for Gareth Barry. Also Gennaro Gattuso claims he would like to like Milan to come play in England next season. Don't see many high profile Italians wanting to leave Italy to come to England. Could maybe be a Man City target, not sure where he would really go.

Villa better be getting some dough with that. A Gerrard-Barry mf would be rock solid. Also, yes, Babel needs to play more.

Why in the hell was Jozy playing right mid tonight?

Osorio doing his best Arena impression?

Yes, this.

Europe please

Spain ftw.

Villarreal or Madrid, plz.

I could live with Sevilla.

Also, if Fulham somehow avoids the drop again, I'd believe in miracles.

Has the USMNT match with Barbados been mentioned yet? It's scheduled for 6/15 at 4 PM CT and will be shown live on ESPN2 from the Home Depot Center.

By the way, what has gotten into the Fire?

Blanco's seed, son.

Jk. Their defense is solid and that's with two potential all stars on the bench. They have a good keeper and they have some underrated, very good offensive guys like Frankowski and Thorrington. Rolfe is a contributor and Barrett has his (mls) moments, then of course there is Mr. White.

Thorrington is going all April Theriot on opponents. And Rolfe's return should provide a nice spark. It's too bad I haven't been able to watch all that much so far this season.

And speaking of fire...

Oh, and the announcement on the USMNT match vs. T&T at Toyota Park should come in the next couple of weeks.

Deuce just signed a two year extension with Fulham.

Michael Bradley got sent off in the 39th minute of the second leg of the Champions league playoff against Ajax. Kind of an ignominious ending to his last game with Heerenveen.

I like the fact that MB has an edge to him, but he needs to keep it in check a little better.

Not sure how I feel about Deuce signing a two year extension prior to securing safety in the Prem, or signing it at all. Kind of just wanted to see him on a bigger club.

The extension actually gives Fulham more leverage in any transfer deal.

Michael Bradley = Everton's top transfer target

EVERTON are ready to step up their pursuit of top summer target Michael Bradley.

Blues boss David Moyes has had a long-standing interest in the United States international and a delegation from Goodison Park checked on the Heerenveen midfielder during their clash with Ajax last night.

Capped 18 times by his country, at 6ft 1ins Bradley has the size and stature that Moyes is looking for to bolster his engine room and could cost in the region of £4.5m. Blackburn Rovers are also understood to have an interest.

Moyes had considered a move for the 21-year-old during the last transfer window but was prepared to bide his time with the intention of reviewing the situation at the end of the season.

Bradley – son of current United States head coach Bob – has continued to impress in the Eredivise and scored a hugely impressive 18 goals in 36 appearances for Heerenveen, who finished fifth behind champions PSV Eindhoven.

The Fire moved to 5-1-1 last night with a 2-0 win in DC. Blanco had an impressive goal, although the GK was too far out.

I love the Euros so much. Ze Germans will of course get to at least the semi's. They'll probably lose in the championship to either a superman inspired Portugal (everyone's dark horse) or Spain.

I know, I know, chokers, but I really think Spain have it this year. Really there is so much quality that you can see France, Italy, Germany, Holland or Portugal winning it, but I think Spain can do it. They are so strong up the middle it isn't funny.

Btw, it's total BS that FSC doesn't have the Fulham game. I don't know if my soccer bar is open early enough for the game.

We got a bar here that opens around 9am. Not sure when they start serving though.

I don't think anyone really imagine Greece winning the last Euro's. Portugal finally had a good WC last time around, Spain should be very very good. If I had to pick today this is who I have moving on, though I really have no clue.

Seriously, group C is the most ridiculous group of death I've ever seen. I don't see Italy missing out though. I think it'll be your Dutch boys or France.
